Advisory Board Members - Marshall Choy
Marshall Choy is a seasoned senior executive with start-up and large company experience spanning product and GTM at a global scale for over 20 years at prestigious technology companies such as Sun Microsystems, Oracle, and SambaNova Systems.
As an early career software engineer at Sun Microsystems, Mr. Choy developed operating system kernels and middleware applications and then moved on to architect and deliver Top 500-class supercomputers. Through these intense experiences, Mr. Choy progressed into managerial and business-oriented roles where he was responsible for leading teams in new product introduction, product management, and solutions delivery for key corporate growth areas such as Web Infrastructure, HPC, and Enterprise Applications.
In the event of Oracle’s acquisition of Sun Microsystems, Mr. Choy held responsibilities for product management and GTM of the entire Oracle Systems portfolio of products and solutions, including integrated systems, servers, storage, networking, and Oracle Optimized Solutions. In this role as corporate vice president, Mr. Choy oversaw the introduction of numerous new products into the market and drove the portfolio to a multi-billion-dollar annual run rate.
Mr. Choy currently serves as Chief Customer Officer at SambaNova Systems, a full-stack agent AI start-up based in Silicon Valley. He has successfully brought 4 generations of products to market with positive response and adoption at SambaNova resulting in high value wins in enterprise, service provider, and public sector customers worldwide.
Mr. Choy holds a BS undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University and completed the Executive MBA program at the University of Michigan.
