Data collected: Just the “screen” state (e.g., “start”, “comet”, “ouridea”, “main”) and “privacyAccepted” (e.g., “true”)—no personal information like your name, IP address, or browsing habits.

Purpose: “Screen” improves your experience by avoiding repetitive intro content. “privacyAccepted” ensures we don’t show the privacy popup again after you accept it.

Sharing: None. This data stays on your device and isn’t sent to us or anyone else.

Control: You can clear these anytime by resetting your browser’s local storage (via browser settings or developer tools).

2. Web Server Logs (Security)

What we do: Our web server automatically logs certain details when you visit, to keep the site secure and troubleshoot issues.
Data collected:
  • IP address (e.g., 1.3.12.20 or 9.2.19.7).
  • Timestamp (e.g., “21/Mar/2025:00:05:21 +0200”).
  • Request details (e.g., “GET /favicon.ico HTTP/1.1” or “GET /.git/config HTTP/1.1”).
  • Response status (e.g., 400, 650 bytes).
  • Error messages (e.g., “access forbidden by rule”), if applicable.
  • User agent (e.g., browser type like “Mozilla/5.0...Chrome/108.0.0.0”).
Purpose: IT security and maintenance—e.g., detecting hacking attempts (like unauthorized access to /.git/config) or fixing errors.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest (protecting our site and users).
Retention: Logs are kept for 3 months, then securely deleted.
Access: Only our IT team can access this data, and only for security or troubleshooting.
Sharing: We don’t share this with third parties, except if legally required (e.g., law enforcement with a valid request).
No Personal Data Beyond This
